Cole Janini has had the privilege of serving the beautiful community of Woodburn, Oregon for the past decade as a PA at Salud Medical Center. He has operated as the PCP for thousands of individuals through the years, addressing the needs of newborns to geriatrics, encompassing pediatric, prenatal, family medicine, internal medicine, and geriatric care.

His passion, however, is metabolic health and obesity. He has seen first-hand what the obesity epidemic and subsequent metabolic derangement has done to society and intends to spend the rest of his career equipping patients with the tools to combat these often-preventable disease states.

Cole deeply respects Dr. Sanchez-Goettler’s emphasis on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and wishes to emulate this approach. It’s no secret that the modern medical system has, sadly, lost touch with this concept of whole person care. In partnering with Dr. Sanchez-Goettler and her team, he hopes to provide a service that focuses on the root cause of disease and reverses (or better yet, prevents) poor metabolic health and its disastrous consequences.

He has long identified exercise, nutrition, sleep, social connection, mental health, and spiritual health as the pillars of wellness. His aim is to come alongside each patient in their journey to strengthen these pillars and help them achieve a happier, healthier, and more fulfilled existence. Together, he believes a plan can be formulated that is designed specifically for each individual—allowing them to take control of their health—mind, body, and soul—and help them thrive.

He is eager to meet new patients and get this process started.
